1. Overview of the current situation: examination of the current state of the military healthcare system through an in-depth study of the relevant regulations, analysis of the healthcare and assistance needs that characterize the user base, and evaluation of the performance of the service network;
2. Definition of the re-engineering strategy: outlining the necessary intervention actions for the re-engineering of the military healthcare network aimed at defining the Military Health Service with an organizational and functional configuration consistent with the current and prospective needs of the user base and that overcomes existing critical issues.
Conclusions
The strategic plan drafted has thoroughly outlined the current state of the military healthcare system, objectively defining the needs of the user base. The strategy outlined aims at inter-force cooperation, improving the efficiency of the entire system, and maximizing performance.
